Keller is not worried about re-election

Keller was one of two Republicans who voted for the (income tax) hike. The other, Lance Langsford, isn’t running for re-election. Keller said he’s not worried about any fallout. He said his district has the highest crime rate in the county.  (WTHR News, August 30, 2007)

    Continue the quote please…

    “I assure you many (in his district) were for it because they saw where the money was going. They hate the tax, but they like the result,” Keller said.

    And that’s true – the crime rate is a huge motivating factor in our district. Do I like the taxes? No. But I don’t like the crime even more.

    I think the reason I didn’t include this quote is because I thought Keller was talking about Langsford. And maybe because I thought it was a poorly structured sentence. But thanks for putting it out there!
